There is an auto theft /vandalism ring active in Dearborn Hills. One victim had their Ford Explorer broken into around 2:30 a.m. on January 4th near the corner of Mohawk and Denwood. The car was found a block and a half away – As you can see in the photo, a window was broken and the tires and rims had been stolen.

We have since learned there are groups of 4 that are targeting Ford Trucks, Explorers and Taurus, as well as Chrysler 300’s. They are quick and quiet. As a precaution, pull your cars farther up the driveway and turn on outdoor lighting.

I've not heard of this since
we moved here. Somebody was very bold to do this.
