Dearborn Hills Neighbor Appreciation  – Christmas Lights!

 

Sometimes I wish that it could be Christmas all year.    Dearborn Hills certainly gets beautiful at Christmas time with lights that many of our neighbors delightfully adorn their homes with!   As I walked the neighborhood, I got to observe some of the lighting displays go up.    I particularly enjoyed the houses that played Christmas music as they decorated!   These are the decorators who sure know how to make it especially festive!! 

 

The more I was enjoying the lights and decorations, a thought came to me to give awards to all the houses whose decorations and lights brought that childlike joy to me.   I suggested we start a means of appreciating these neighbors and it was decided to be a good idea!   

 

We accepted nominations and then voted to determine the top 3.  This year’s winners were: 

• 740 Mohawk
• 28650 Marshall
• 3707 Elmwood Court

Below are the pictures of the awards that were delivered to the winners.   Each also received a membership to the Dearborn Hills Civic Association.  Congratulations to the 2015 winners!
