Important Message regarding recent Facebook Post:
It was recently brought to the DHCA’s attention that a political comment was inappropriately posted from the DHCA’s Facebook account. The Board promptly investigated the situation and to ensure that there is not a repeat of the situation, the DHCA removed the administrative privileges from the individual who posted from the DHCA’s account, apparently believing they were signed in to their personal account.
Further, while the post was promptly removed by another administrator on the account, upon being alerted to the since-deleted post, the Board updated its Facebook account to address the situation and to make clear that the post was not authorized by the DHCA nor does it represent the DHCA’s views.
The Board thanks the resident who brought this situation to our attention.
